Absorbent Hydro-detergent Dressing

• The UrgoClean dressing comes in the form of a sterile, non-woven compress, composed of hydro-detergent fibers (polyacrylate) with a high level of absorption and cohesion.

• This unique innovation consists of crossing by thermobonding, in a plane parallel to the wound, polyacrylate fibers in a structural arrangement which gives UrgoClean its properties of absorption and trapping of fibrinous residues from the wound and resistance to traction.

• This hydro-detergent compress is coated with a micro-adherent lipid-colloid matrix (TLC-contact) which gels, thus facilitating the drainage of fibrinous residues, the positioning and removal of the product.

• On contact with exudates, the lipidocolloid particles from the TLC-contact gel, creating a moist environment favorable to detersion.

• At the same time, the hydro-detergent polyacrylate fibers gel and attach to the fibrin residues, absorbing them and draining them in order to facilitate their elimination.

• Consequently, the fixation and drainage of fibrinous residues by the UrgoClean hydro-detersive structure associated with its TLC-Contact promote the detersion phase of fibrinous wounds.
