Description and use
In case of a strain, minor sprain or pain, our Gibaud Knee Brace protects the movement of your knee by restoring your sensations thanks to its proprioceptive effect*. It supports you during your daily activities (sport, work, leisure, etc.).

• This compressive 3D textile restores your sensations through proprioception.
• Soft and breathable, this second-skin care textile protects your knee while allowing the skin to breathe.
For knee conditions that may benefit from compression, including:
• Sensation/feeling of instability.
• Minor strains and sprains.
• Knee pain.
Precautions for use:
• The device contains natural rubber latex which may cause allergic reactions.
• The device should not be used if the injury requires partial or total immobilization or surgery.
• Users with medical conditions that limit blood circulation in the limbs (e.g., diabetes or peripheral vascular disease) should consult their physician before using the device.
• Do not wear for prolonged periods without medical supervision.
• The orthosis must not be placed in direct contact with a skin lesion.
• This orthosis is a device for single-patient use. Do not reuse on multiple patients.
• If any problem occurs while using this orthosis, for example pain or the appearance of local symptoms, remove the orthosis and contact your doctor.
• If any serious incident occurs in connection with the device, the user and/or patient must report it to the manufacturer and to the competent authority in the country concerned.
Set up :
• A fitting is mandatory for a correct adaptation and a good understanding of the installation. The first installation will be carried out by a healthcare professional and subsequently by the patient or a person close to them according to the same protocol.
• When fitting, position the oval patellar centering area on the patella.
Maintenance and conservation:
• Hand wash in warm soapy water (maximum 40°C); rinse thoroughly; wring gently; do not bleach; dry flat, do not tumble dry; do not iron; do not dry clean.
• Dispose of the device and its packaging in accordance with local or national environmental regulations.
