Size info: One size (chest circumference under the chest + max. humerus 130 cm) For shoulder conditions that may benefit from immobilization of the scapulohumeral joint, with the elbow alongside the body, particularly in the following cases:
• Shoulder instabilities/traumas
• Before or after surgery
• Soft tissue repairs/distensions General characteristics:

• Do not wear for prolonged periods without medical supervision
• The orthosis must not be placed in contact with damaged skin
• If any problems occur while using this orthosis, for example pain or the appearance of local symptoms, remove the vest and contact your doctor. If any serious incident occurs in connection with the device, the healthcare professional and/or the patient must report it to the manufacturer and to the competent authority in the country concerned. Set up : A fitting is mandatory for adaptation and a good understanding of the fitting. The first fitting will be carried out by a healthcare professional and later by a person close to the patient according to the same protocol. 1- Insert your forearm into the sling, with the Gibaud brand facing outwards and visible to the person helping you put it on. Pass the straps over your shoulders and cross them at the back. 2- Pass the straps under the scarf and secure them using the straps provided for this purpose. Ensure that the forearm is horizontal. 3- Attach the chest band to one of the straps, without covering the elbow or hand. Go all the way around the chest to stick the band to itself. 4- Tighten the band so as to obtain a firm, but comfortable immobilization. Maintenance and conservation:
• Hand wash in warm soapy water (maximum 40°C); rinse thoroughly; wring gently; do not bleach; dry flat, away from excessive heat sources (e.g. radiators), do not tumble dry; do not iron; do not dry clean.
• Dispose of the device and its packaging in accordance with local or national environmental regulations.
